The cost of standing still
The east coast gas market continues to evolve, and it rewards a proactive approach. Conditions shift quickly and so do the risks and opportunities. Knowing when to act is just as important as knowing what to do.
Gas supply and purchase contracts that once offered straightforward certainty and low maintenance now require active oversight. An unmanaged position can realise significant actual and opportunity costs.
Market data and active analysis, a broad spectrum of relationships, and execution speed matter more than ever. The window to capture or preserve value is rarely open for long and preparation is key.
A trading-focused specialist with the market knowledge and relationships built over years puts your gas position in expert hands, freeing you to focus on what you do best.
What we do
A comprehensive service offering that lets producers and consumers manage their east coast gas position with the capability of a dedicated desk but not the associated overhead.
Enabling clients to access the spot market and manage their position imbalances without becoming a registered participant themselves.
Pipeline access to the APA east coast gas grid (RBP, SWQP, MSP, Wallumbilla and Moomba) enabling clients to transact gas at delivery points they may not have.
Master Gas Sales Agreements and relationships with a broad base of market participants, alongside agreements with gas brokers.
Active oversight of a client's gas exposure ensuring contracted quantities are optimised to market conditions as production or consumption varies.
Helping producers find demand and consumers secure supply on competitive terms, without the overhead of maintaining a full gas commercial function in-house.
Market insights, analysis and strategic advice to help clients navigate the gas market and make confident, informed decisions about their portfolio.
Quantitative modelling and market analytics that turn complex market dynamics into clear, evidence-based decisions. Scenario analysis, position modelling and pricing insight underpinning every transaction we manage.
We intend to obtain Day Ahead Auction and Short Term Trading Market registrations as we continue to build out our capability, extending the range of markets in which we can transact.
